We are getting ready to return to Africa. Planned first for this year is the West Africa College of Surgery meeting in Dakar Senegal where Bruce will be inducted as a fellow (more initials after his name!). Then a time of surgery in Togo (the Karolyn Kempton Memorial Hospital where pediatric surgery will be the emphasis). We then head to Thailand to help with the Christian Medical and Dental Association continuing medical education conference for two weeks. Bruce will be lecturing, coordinating the worship services and teaching ACLS and PALS. We then visit Bangladesh for the first time for two weeks, vistiing the Memorial Christian Hospital in Malumghat. Next on the agenda is another three-week stent on the Mercy Ship Anastasis . May, June and July will be busy with PAACS (Pan Africa Academy of Christian Surgeons) in East and Western Africa.
